2009-05-20: Project Permitting Seminar Features TE Managing Principal
Tech Environmental's ÂManaging Principal Peter Guldberg, C.C.M., recently delivered a lecture on the Massachusetts Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Policy and the practice of energy and GHG modeling as part of a seminar given on Project Permitting in Massachusetts for the Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section (BSCES) and the Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers (MALSCE).
Mr. Guldberg was on the Governor's Committee that helped write the GHG Policy and Protocol, and he is one of the leading consultants implementing the new policy.
Mr. Guldberg's remarks gave a practical guide to energy modeling and quantifying GHG emissions for real estate development and highway improvement projects, cartier replica watches an overview of recent changes in building codes, and the reductions from proposed mitigation measures. His presentation discussed energy and GHG calculations done as part of a GHG study for several recent large-scale developments in Massachusetts.
The handouts from Mr. Guldberg's presentation are available through the MALSCE website (click here).
