Senior Energy Engineer / Senior Power Industry Consultant
Tech Environmental, an environmental consulting firm that has specialized in air quality consulting for over 20 years, is seeking a senior energy engineer or senior power industry professional to join our consulting practice in our Waltham, MA office.
The successful candidate will have an opportunity to own a significant stake of ownership in the firm and will participate in the ownership management team. An eligible candidate must have the ability and desire to expand our existing client base, and to continue our strong tradition of providing personalized services to our existing clients.
The successful candidate will have the professional certification necessary to service our client’s needs, a master’s or law degree in a related field, 10-25 years of professional experience, contacts for new clients or a firm strategy to acquire new clients, an understanding of issues related to air quality concerns, a willingness to mentor staff, and experience in a variety of jobs related to siting and permitting, environmental due diligence, and expert testimony for energy and power distribution projects.
The successful candidate must also be able to assist our clients in evaluating and determining air emissions from coal, natural gas, solid waste, and oil combustion, have an extensive knowledge of federal and state energy regulatory programs, direct experience with energy siting boards, have a proven track record in consulting, and be a highly motivated and driven individual with a strong commitment to excellence.
